Good walking shoes
Swimsuit
Warm winter jersey / jumper / jacket
Light rain gear for summer months (late November to April)
Camera equipment and plenty of film / extra digital memory cards
If you wear contact lenses, we recommend a pair of back-up glasses, in case you get irritation from dust whilst on safari
Binoculars
Personal toiletries
Moisturising cream and sunscreen
Insect repellent (available in local shops)
A small torch / flashlight is often very useful
